About Me

At age 15, Delaney got her start in the Hollywood sketch comedy circuit, becoming one of the youngest writers to ever write, perform, and produce comedy sketches at the Pack Theater, Upright Citizens Brigade, and iO West in Hollywood.

Now, Delaney Glassner is a freelance film and TV creative pursuing opportunities in creative development and real-time virtual production based in Los Angeles and Chicago. She is highly experienced in leading teams in the creative process. She has a deep passion for writing and developing TV and film, and has used this passion to develop many of her own projects, as well as the projects of respected colleagues and friends.

Recently, she worked as a development intern at 42 Management & Productions in Los Angeles, and is highly experienced in writing coverage, performing desk work, and logging and updating development grids. She also served as script chair of the student-run production company Studio 22, coordinating weekly workshops for students to flesh out script ideas and receive feedback, as well as collaborating with recipients of Studio 22 grants to track the progress of development of 8 scripts at a time. She has produced 3 short films in the last 2 years.

Delaney’s successes have earned her recognition as a writer and director for television and film. In 2022, she won a SeriesFest Collegiate Spotlight Award alongside her team for her work directing a sit-com pilot called Fraternal. Subsequently, she won a grant from Northwestern’s TREE (Technology, Race, Ethics, and Equity) Lab in tandem with the Northwestern Radio/Television/Film department to write and direct her short film StayNTouch. The film was adapted from research she performed in Germany as an AI Ethics fellow through DAAD (which translates to the German Academic Exchange Service). It is currently in post-production and premieres in June of 2023. She is available for hiring opportunities.
